How long does each service take?
TRIAL
TheGirls perform “Trial Days” at least once a month in their Costa Mesa sister salon for California or various locations in Texas. This day is set aside for bridal preview scheduled every 2 hours. In that time, a consultation will take place where wedding details, colors, themes as well as makeup and hair ideas will be discussed. Based on the series of questions narrowing down your custom creation, a trial will then begin.
DAY OF
TheGirls will discuss time frames with you to ensure the proper timing is provided to perform your beauty services. With the information provided, a timeline will be created and approved by you. Once confirmed, the day will be conducted based on that time frame.
Is there a price difference if my entire wedding party is booked?
YES! We offer large party discounts when 7+ hair AND makeup services are performed by the same ladies.
What forms of payment do you take?
TheGirls accept Cash, Check (by brides ONLY) and Credit card (8.75% tax). We also have a pay pal account available but payment must be submitted before the artist leave. If the bride is covering the services for her bridal party she can pay via pay-pal before her wedding so that no money transaction is needed the day-of the wedding. If each girl is paying individually, please have one girl collect each individual payment to provide one payment to the artist at the end
How do I secure my date?
TheGirls book off a first secured bases. This means that until your deposit, agreement and confirmed number of services is submitted, your date is not secured. It is never too early to book your date!
If girls change their mind on services am I responsible?
Upon booking and securing your event date, a confirmed number of services must be submitted. After this date, the bride is responsible for any changes in number as well as cost adjustments. TheGirls encourage your entire wedding party to take part in beauty services and offer large party discounts to make the financial commitment more affordable. If the services drops below the previously discussed number, additional charges may apply.
Do you travel?
On location is what makes TheGirls an addition to your busy day. Bridal suits or hotel suits makes this time of getting ready more relaxed and a memory to your day instead of a stress. Depending on the date, day and time of your wedding, a small travel fee may apply.
What if my event fall on a holiday/holiday weekend?
If your event or bridal preview falls on a holiday or holiday weekend, an additional fee may be applied.
What does the service include?
Hair services include the application of pre purchased ready to wear clip in extensions as well as accessories provided by the client. Blow dries are NOT included unless previously discussed but can be added to services.
Makeup includes HD or Airbrush application along with false lashes provided by your artist and a lip color. Lip color is not provided to keep unless discussed previously and purchased for your day
My wedding party seems larger in size
The average wedding consists of 8 hair and 8 makeup services and tend to start between 6:00 – 7:00 am. This is an extremely feasible group of services and start time that can be performed by one hair and one makeup artist. Our teams are capable of performing up to 17 services each. If you wish to request an assistant or additional artist, all group rates will be removed and a add on fee will be applied along with potential higher travel miles.
What if someone has sensitive skin?
Many of times this questions arises. Sensitive skin is something we don’t take lightly and we hope to make each and every client in our chair as comfortable as possible. If you or someone in your party fits this criteria, we do want to provide any information necessary as well as address each situation specifically. Our products are safe to apply to many skin types as well as pregnant women, but know each case is uniquely different. We encourage you to reach out to us in regards to specific allergies, preference in using their own makeup during application, using their preferred primer first etc.
